2002-2003 in brief
2002
The Lions were set up in 2002 and started in Divison 2 of the MSL.
In our first year we were very successful, moving from Division 2 to the play off division and then winning promotion to Division 1 as runners up in the play off division. In tournament play we were runners up in the plate at Leeds, beating the Jammy Dodgers in the Semi before losing to the Coyotes in the final.

2003
2003 was a lot less successful on (and off) the pitch. We sank from Division 1 back to the play off division and ended the year back in division 2.
Injuries played a large part in our decline, but team spirit was also notable only by it's absence.
We played at the Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds tournaments with no real success, a win against the Greensox at Leeds the only real highlight.
Perhaps the most important / only good news in 2003 was the appearance of Felix right at the end of the season.
