The Dodgers won the 2nd Manchester invitational tournament which was again hosted by the Lions at their Trafford Metrovicks base. Four teams, the Lions, Dodgers, Runners and Growlers played a round robin followed by a final.
The Lions improved on the previous year by actually winning a game, the Runners being the victims, but it was the Dodgers and Growlers who contested the final with the Dodgers being worthy winners.
